The Executive Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Area, Engr. Ademu Muhammed Yahaya,
has once again demonstrated his commitment to delivering meaningful development to the people of Ankpa, as he personally inspected the ongoing construction of a modern abattoir at Ogodo Junction.
The inspection is another indication that the Chairman is not only interested in announcing projects but is also paying close attention to their quality, progress and eventual impact on the people.
At the project site, Engr. Ademu Muhammed Yahaya inspected the level of construction and assessed the quality and pace of work.
He also engaged with the engineers handling the project, emphasizing the need for proper workmanship, durability and strict adherence to the approved design and specifications.
A PROJECT WITH DIRECT IMPACT ON THE PEOPLE
The modern abattoir, when completed, is expected to bring a major improvement to the way meat is processed and handled in Ankpa.
Beyond providing a better working environment for butchers and meat traders, the facility has the potential to improve meat hygiene, environmental sanitation and public health, while giving Ankpa a more organized and modern facility for meat processing.
