Provide proof of the alleged N-Power fraud, or I'll sue, Dbanj warns the Minister and ICPC.

Daniel Oladapo, better known by his stage name Dbanj, has demanded that Sadiya Farouq, the minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management, and social development, show proof of money that has been linked to his account.

Dbanj questioned Farouq about how he came to be accused of having money connected to his account by the ICPC.

Dbanj threatened to file a lawsuit against the Minister and ICPC over the alleged money linked to him, speaking through his attorney Pelumi Olajengbesi.

Dbanj demanded an apology from the minister and ICPC for his arrest, calling it an injustice.

Dbanj was detained on suspicion of stealing money intended for the Federal Government's N-Power program for empowering young people.

The singer was released by the ICPC on self-recognition after 72 hours.

However, the artist claimed that he had no criminal past, underlining that his arrest was unpleasant.

"Nigerians must be given the truth that D'banj is clean and has no criminal or fraud background," says Olajengbesi in a statement.

Sadiya Farouq, the minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management, and social development, who allegedly gave the ICPC the order to imprison D'banj, must now be prepared to explain to the public how much money has been linked to his account.

The names of the officials D'banj is believed to have worked with, as well as the account and N-power funds that are supposedly linked to Dbanj's account, are still things we want the minister to reveal.

This is unfair, and at the request of our client, we may go to court to demand compensation from the ICPC as well as remedy and a public apology.

He claimed that because nothing linking him to an offense had been found, the ICPC had wrongfully detained him.

The musician claimed it was embarrassing that the ICPC had implicated him in the N900 million fraud without any proof.
